Systems Advisory & Integration Support — Scope defined by project
Mission-Critical Power
Requirements, interfaces, controls, communications and verification support aligned to a clearly stated project boundary.
Explore this pathAbout Engitech
Engitech Systems is a Houston-based partner for mission-critical power systems advisory, integration support and selected represented technologies.
Our position
Clear technical scope, visible responsibility boundaries and direct communication across project participants.
Clear relationships
Engitech states who advises, coordinates, manufactures, supplies and supports an offering so customers can evaluate the correct technical and commercial path.

Our role is defined by the project—not by a claim to manufacture every product or represent every platform involved.
Data-center owners and mission-critical facility teams
EPCs, consultants and project engineers
Utilities, operators and infrastructure owners
OEM package builders and technical procurement teams
How we engage
The working method preserves continuity from early definition through verification, handover and ongoing support within the agreed responsibility boundary.
Clarify the operating requirement, system boundary and project interfaces.
Align the architecture, participant responsibilities and integration approach.
Plan reviews and tests against documented requirements and acceptance criteria.
Organize findings, records and open items for the responsible project parties.
Before we start
The right engagement starts with a clear requirement and an agreed scope.
We support mission-critical power systems through advisory, independent review and agreed integration-support scopes. Work can address requirements, architecture, protection, controls, communications and verification planning. Deliverables and responsibilities are defined for each project.
Explore our scopeNo. IEC 61850 is applied where the project architecture and requirements call for it. Support can include use cases, SCL coordination, IED interfaces and interoperability test planning.
Review the IEC 61850 scopeEngitech Systems is Dafram’s exclusive U.S. sales agent, coordinating commercial and technical inquiries. Dafram retains responsibility for product design, manufacture and technical documentation, and confirms product applicability.
Dafram inquiriesShare the available system brief, operating objective, known interfaces, technical requirements and timing. Early-stage information does not need to be complete. For a valve RFQ, include the application, specification, quantity, documentation needs and delivery date. Agree handling requirements before sending restricted information.
Prepare a project briefProject-specific licensing and authorization requirements must be confirmed with our team before work is agreed. This assistant cannot confirm an engineering firm’s authorization, stamping availability or authority to practice in a particular state.

Standards background
IEC 61850 is a standards series, not just a communication protocol. IEC describes information models, the SCL engineering description language and communication services as parts of its approach. Its applications extend beyond substation automation.
This is general technical background, not evidence of an Engitech certification or a guarantee of interoperability. The project architecture and agreed scope determine how IEC 61850 applies.

What is 61850?Manufacturer information
Dafram’s public catalogue includes several trunnion valve configurations, floating and control designs, and families intended for cryogenic, high-temperature and subsea duties.
This describes the manufacturer’s catalogue, not stock availability or approval for a particular application. Engitech coordinates inquiries; Dafram confirms product applicability and retains responsibility for design, manufacture and technical documentation.

Dafram product hubManufacturer information
Dafram publishes a trunnion side-entry range of Class 150 to 4500 and sizes up to 60 in. Its split bodies use two or three pieces, forged or cast construction, soft or metal seats, and RF, RTJ, butt-weld or hub ends. The manufacturer publishes separate API 6D and API 6A versions.
These are manufacturer-published family options, not confirmation that every size, pressure class, material and certification combination is available. Dafram must confirm the configuration for the project; this is not stock, pricing or delivery information.
